What Bible lessons will I be learning?
Did you know that every story in the Bible is a small piece of a much bigger story? Each one is a piece of the Big Story of God’s Love to the World when He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the Savior of the world.
During October and November 2026, the lessons in Children’s Church (on Sundays during the Morning Worship Service) and those taught at Gather & Grow on Wednesdays, are focusing on the early Church’s opposition. There were people in Jerusalem who did not believe in Jesus and did not want anyone to talk about Jesus so they tried to stop the believers from sharing and preaching about Jesus.
Jesus had promised that His followers would face opposition just as He had, and it didn’t take long for that to happen. The church was opposed by outsiders as it also experienced conflict from within. But just as God had used the opposition of Jesus for good, He would use opposition of the church for good too.
