Calvary’s Kids is the Children’s Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, and it’s designed for Kids from birth through fifth grade.

Elementary Students
Which Grade are you in? Calvary’s Kids defines Elementary Students as First through Fifth Grades. (Note: During Summers, Elementary students’ grades sometimes vary.) What Classes Are For Me? @NINE meets each Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 9:45 am. It’s a fun-filled class of learning Bible stories, songs, and activities. Your class meets in the Orange Room in the church’s Lower Level. (Click on this link for a Map of the church’s Lower Level.) Your teachers will be using the Brite* curriculum that teaches through the Bible each year with a goal that you will Believe in Jesus, Become more and more like Jesus, and know that You Belong to Him forever. Children’s Church is available for 1st through 3rd grade students on every Sunday morning during the Morning Worship Service at 10:00 am. You will sit with your family during the first portion of the Morning Worship Service. When it’s time to go to class, your parent will escort you to the Church Lobby to meet the Teachers. To help ensure your safety, we ask that only your parent / guardian (or Adults who have parental permission) escort you to the Church Lobby and pick you up after class. Gather & Grow is our Wednesday evening ministry from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the school year which is for the entire family! Gather & Grow begins with a meal together with the whole church family in the church’s Fellowship Hall (on the Main Level). After dinner, there will be a fun time of learning Bible stories, music, activities, and prayer. NOTE: Gather & Grow has concluded for the 2025-2026 school year. It will resume on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Are There Other Activities for Me? Definitely! Several times during the year, Calvary’s Kids host Special Events that are fun and exciting, and you won’t want to miss them!

Pre-School through Kindergarten
Which Calvary’s Kids are in the Pre-School through Kindergarten classes? You are in the Pre-School through Kindergarten classes if you are toilet-trained and are Three Years, Four Years, or Five Years Old or are currently attending Kindergarten. What are My Classes? There are three classes for you. (Click on this link for a Map of the church’s Lower Level.) @NINE is from 9:00 am to 9:45 am each Sunday morning. During @NINE, you will learn Bible stories, sing songs, and do some fun activities. The Pre-School and Kindergarten Kids, along with the Elementary Students, meet in the White Room in the church’s Lower Level. Your teachers will be using the Brite* curriculum that teaches through the Bible each year with a goal that you will Believe in Jesus, Become more and more like Jesus, and know that You Belong to Him forever. Children’s Church occurs each Sunday morning during the second portion of the Morning Worship Service at 10:00 am. You will sit with your family in the Morning Worship Service until it’s time for class. Look for the slide on the screen telling you when it’s time for class. Your parent should escort you to the Church Lobby to meet the Teachers. When all the kids are gathered in the Church Lobby, your Teachers will escort you to the Purple classroom in the church’s lower level. You’ll enjoy a fun hour of learning Bible stories, songs, and activities. Your Bible lesson in your Class at 10:00 am is the same as what the older members of your family learn at Gather & Grow on Wednesdays. At the end of the Service, your parent will pick you up from the Purple classroom. Gather & Grow occurs each Wednesday evening during the school year from 6:00 pm through 8:00 pm. The evening begins with the church family having a meal together. Then, at about 6:30 pm, you will be invited (along with the Infants through Two Years Old) to meet together in the Nursery on the Main Level. You’ll enjoy a great time of doing fun activities. To help ensure your safety, we ask that only your parent / guardian (or Adults who have parental permission) drop you off to your classes or pick you up at the end of your classes.

Infants through 2-Years Old
Calvary’s Kids’ Nurseries (located near the Main Level bathrooms) are designed for newborns through 2-years old kids. Your parent / guardian can feel confident in leaving you in the Nursery. (S)he can know that you will be lovingly cared for during the time which (s)he is away from you. The carpet and rugs are kept clean since shoes are not allowed to be worn beyond the counter. Each Nursery staff member has passed a background screening and has been fully trained in Calvary’s Child Protection Policy. An electronic paging system notifies your parent / guardian that (s)he is needed in the Nursery. To help ensure your safety, we ask that only your parent / guardian (or Adults who have parental permission) drop you off or pick you up. Please ask your parent / guardian to ensure that your personal items (drinking cups, pacifiers, etc.) are clearly marked with your name. When is the Nursery Open? Calvary’s Nursery is open and staffed on Sunday mornings during @NINE at 9:00 am as well as during the Morning Worship Service at 10:00 am. Parents / Guardians may drop off their kids beginning at 8:45 am. What about Wednesday evenings? Each Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the school year is our Gather & Grow ministry which begins with a meal together in the church’s Fellowship Hall (on the Main Level). After the meal, around 6:30 pm, you will be invited (along with the Preschool through Kindergarten kids) to meet together in the Nursery on the Main Level. You’ll enjoy a great time of doing fun activities.
